We are in the final stretch of school, and this week is solely focused on giving students a chance to turn in any missing work, and prepare for the final exam. Attached below is the Study Guide for the Multiple Choice section of the final exam. The study guide can be completed and turned in for credit on Monday. As promised in class, below you will find the workout out solutions for the Study Guide. Please note the typos on problems 20! One final reminder that there are 5 short answer questions on your final exam that cover the topics in our final unit on exponential functions. These questions are not on the study guide. Please review what you know about exponential growth from our rabbit exercise, and about linear tables and graphs from our ball drop exercise. I'm sure if you were in class, you will do fine on these questions.

AThis week we will be completing our work on Bouncing Ball, and begin our work on studying for the Final Exam. If you have any missing work, this is you chance to get it turned in before you run out of time.
MONDAY Learning Target: Complete models of linear functions using tables and graphs. Complete a video narration of your rebound ratio work. Students will have a chance work work in their groups to complete the group assignment for the Bouncing Ball - Rebound Ratio work as well as the Video Narration for your team. WEDNESDAY Learning Target: Review multiplication and division rules of exponents Students will have a chance to review the multiplication rules using guided notes. THURSDAY Learning Target: Explore exponential decay and compare it to the linear function that they found in the previous lesson. Students will work in teams to look at what happens when you drop a ball from 200 cm and then let it bounce several times. Students will also have a chance to begin working on their study guide for their final exams. If you missed getting the study guide, or you need an extra copy, see the link below. |
